In 2018, FullCircle26, Inc supplied and donated OPCOM Farm® Hydroponic Systems to the Dominican Center and Amani United creating a full Hydroponics Lab. The Dominican Center’s Hydro Lab became the foundation for the 3D Model of Sustainability ™ continued to thrive and sustain up until their closure due to COVID-19. We anticipate reopening in the fall of 2021. The Dominican Center was chosen for this award for their dedication to mastering the 3 keystones of our 3D Model of Sustainability- Education, Food Sustainability and Enterprise.
The 13-acre farm will offer an educational component, with a horse arena, with a FullCircle26, Inc OPCOM hydroponic classroom and bookings available for school field trips. There are also plans to host summer youth groups on the compound, as well as welcome inner-city families to educate the youth about holistic, sustainable food through agriculture and farming. Phased expansion is in the works, as the Landry’s look to build larger facilities in the near future.
Next Generation Harvest Foundation plans to have the most advanced Hydroponic (training) Lab in the nation. This facility will cover all aspects of AGTech through education, mentorship, and internship. (rendering of future lab)
